Kevin Durant has partnered up with Nike to create a touching collection in honor of his late aunt Pearl, who died of lung cancer in 2000. The mini line includes a sneaker covered in a pink rosebud print and bright blue details inspired by a floral robe Pearl used to wear as well as a matching hat and T-shirt. This is Durant's first design for a woman's shoe and we're hoping it's not the last.

"I made a promise to myself to always honor my Aunt Pearl for the example she set, and the encouragement she gave me to follow my dreams," he said in a statement.

The KD VI Aunt Pearl collection will be available Feb. 27 with proceeds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for women's cancers. always gives you the latest fashion and beauty trends, tips and news. We are committed to bringing you the best of Black lifestyle and celebrity culture.
