Good news little monsters: Lady Gaga has been named the new face of Japanese beauty brand Shiseido. The bad news? We won’t get to see her lovely New Year’s ad campaign in the U.S. The partnership was born from Lady Gaga’s own collection of selfies that will be used in the company’s advertising for the New Year.
A total of 50 different selfies of the 28-year-old singer will be used. According to WWD, 46 will be released January 1 in different newspapers around Japan and the final four will be published January 5. That’s a whole lot of Gaga! Unfortunately, the beauty company has no plans to use the images outside of Japan.
We just wish we could take a peek at her ads, but we will have to settle for her awesome Instagram feed, which could very well be just as good as the selfies that will be used for the Shiseido campaign.
