This latest fashion news will solidify Jourdan Dunn as the model to watch this year. The 24-year-old beauty is now the cover girl for British Vogue’s February 2015 issue, making her the first Black model to grace the magazine’s cover solo in more than a decade.

Dunn looks fresh-faced and gorgeous as ever in a citrus-colored Prada dress and short bob. The fashion shoot was styled by Vogue’s Kate Phelan and captured by photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

The British beauty received lots of love in an editorial written last August by The Guardian writer Tasny Hoskins that called out British Vogue for not having a Black model grace a cover all by herself in 12 years, not since Naomi Campbell did so back in 2002. Hoskins went so far as to suggest that British Vogue might be racist because there’s no reason someone of Dunn’s caliber should be denied the spot.

Another moment that could have tipped the scales in Dunn’s favor? Her stunning new Burberry campaign with Campbell. This will be Dunn’s second British Vogue cover. Her first, alongside Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Eden Clark, was published in November 2008.
