A$AP Ferg has entered the fashion industry with an interesting collaboration with Danish designer Astrid Andersen. The menswear designer loves rap so much that she pulled in Ferg for her SS16 show. Not only was Andersen inspired by the rapper for her latest designs, but she also asked him to curate the music for her fashion show. Tracks from Ferg, Missy Elliot and others were booming from the speakers as models decked in vibrant streetwear strutted down the runway.

“Ferg has been the ultimate muse for me this season,” Andersen said to High Snobiety about her latest collection. “He has been for a number of years now, and we both have a reverence for Missy Elliot. We think she is like, the god, so that’s a common reference for us that I really wanted to show through the soundtrack.”

Andersen and Ferg also collaborated on a short fashion film titled Water. In it, Ferg channels his inner martial artist and fights off an equally fashionable rival.
