Niger Peacekeepers Killed in Mali - Nine peacekeepers from Niger were killed in an ambush by gunmen on motorbikes Friday, the Associated Press reports. Despite the deaths, Niger's president, Mahamadou Issoufou, said that the country will not retreat. "Niger will continue to fight terrorism in Mali," said Issoufou.
