A group of celebrity women have teamed up to film a video calling for President Barack Obama's reelection. Included in the group are Beyoncé, Kerry Washington, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez all explaining why they're on Team Obama, what he has done for women's rights in the last 3.5 years and why Romney would set women back.
"I'm really struck that Romney would not commit to whether or not he would have voted to support the Lilly Ledbetter [Fair Pay] Act. I'm struck that he won't commit to supporting the Violence Against Women Act," Washington said.
"There's no way to say that this is a president who doesn't believe in women and women's empowerment," she says about Obama.
Beyoncé talked about what Obama's inspiring presidency means for her and her daughter, Blue Ivy.
"He also has a story that I can tell my daughter because it shows that no matter where you start out you can work hard and you can do whatever you put your mind to," she said.
There's no denying that a lot of women's issues are currently up for debate and therefore women need to key in on what each side is saying as it'll affect their rights down the line.
"Women will help decide this election," Jennifer Lopez says in the clip and they will if they make sure to take a stand on Nov. 6 rather than let the choices be made for them.
