Robin Roberts will be honored by Diane von Furstenberg's Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation with a lifetime leadership award. The Good Morning America host, who fought through breast cancer in 2007 and a blood disorder before undergoing a bone marrow transplant last year, is being awarded for her "extraordinary grace and courage." Roberts will also receive $50,000 to put toward a good cause.
In addition, ESPN is presenting Roberts with its Arthur Ashe Courage Award at its annual ESPY Awards this summer for how she's presented her journey to her audience. Roberts was the network's first Black female sportscaster before her move to its sister company ABC.
