Lauren London Gives Advice for Keira

Game actress talks final season and ATL2.

Published May 30, 2015

Lauren London is getting ready to say goodbye to her alter ego Keira Whitaker on The Game, but not before she drops some wisdom on the woman she played for the last three years.

"I would tell her to focus on herself and get to know herself better before she jumps into new relationships using men for security," she tells of the child actress-turned-socialite.

Asked if she can learn anything from Ms. Whitaker, Lauren gives a hell no. "She's way too young for me to learn life lessons from," London says. "She's 20-something and I'm 30. Who she is in The Game and who I am in real life are two totally different people."

The actress also spills some deets on the long-awaited ATL sequel. Unfortunately, London can't confirm whether or not it's actually happening. "It's not definitely in the works," she says cautiously. "I don't want to be the spokesperson for it. I don't want people take my word for it. So, no. Right now it is a concept and there's a lot of possibilities with that."

She would, however, talk a little about where she thinks her character New-New should be today. "I would still want New-New's fashion to be…I feel like the character and all her aesthetics should remain important," she says. "Like her hair and her lipgloss...I wouldn't want to lose that. Even though she does grow up, I think she should still be funky, fresh and spunky. I would keep that."

Hopefully that film will come together soon. Meanwhile, you can see Lauren on the the final season of The Game starting June 3 at 10PM, only on BET.
