After wrapping up her first television entertainment intership on CBS's Extant, Malia Obama is on to the next one, having recently landed another on the hit HBO series Girls.
According to Page Six, the elder of the first daughters was seen on the set of the popular show at Aurora Ristorante in Brooklyn. Malia, who turns 17 today (July 4), was seen delivering coffee for the cast and crew and helping block passers by from entering scenes during filming.
Malia seems to be right where she needs to be as, according to First Lady Michelle Obama, she is interested in a career in filmmaking. "Just like her father, she is an avid reader, and she enjoys movies," she told People in 2012. "But she's a freshman, so she knows she has years in college to explore her interest."
The 17-year-old is set to graduate from Washington D.C.'s Sidewell Friends School in 2016. She may make the big move to New York City for college as she was recently seen checking out NYU, home of the famous Tisch School of the Arts, and Columbia University, her father's alma mater.
