Lupe Fiasco Agrees With Bill O'Reilly

Haiti's reportedly the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, but political commentator Bill O'Reilly and Lupe Fiasco apparently think the South Side of Chicago is in as bad a shape.

Only days after O' Reilly made the comparison on his "Bold Fresh Tour," native Chicagoan Lupe Fiasco told MTV News that Chi-Town may have been just as impovrished before the earthquake.

“There's a certain level of concurrence…not now because there's no toppled buildings unless you count the projects but pre-earthquake Haiti, very much so,” Lupe told MTV. “When I was in Africa, when I went to Tanzania there was this extreme poverty, this extreme corruption and it looked so much like the Westside of Chicago…when you're comparing parts of the country that are primarily African American or Latino it's very easy to compare it to the third-world..."
