Although Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are no longer romantically involved, they are still together working on new music.
Speaking to Rap-Up.Com at Tricky Stewart’s pre-Grammy party last Friday, producer-songwriter and frequent Dupri collaborator Bryan-Michael Cox revealed that Jackson and J.D. are working together for Janet’s upcoming album, her first since 2008’s Discipline.
“I’m producing Janet’s album with Jermaine and it’s going to be hot,” Cox said. “That’s all I can say so far.”
Cox’ production partner Kendrick “WyldCard” Dean also added, “Some great collabos on there,” yet would not divulge any more details.
Janet has also reportedly been working with acclaimed producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins for her album, and is set to add her vocals to the “We Are the World” remake, singing her brother Michael’s part.
