Soulja Boy Gets One Year Probation

Published February 5, 2010

Due to his involvement in an incident in Henry County, Georgia back in October of 2009, Soulja Boy has just been sentenced to one year of probation.

The 19-year-old teen sensation was charged with obstruction after fleeing from an abandon home in Stockbridge, 20 miles south of Atlanta, while shooting a music video without proper authorization.

Soulja Boy (born Deandre Way) was arrested after returning to the scene to retrieve his Range Rover. The rapper posted bail the next morning and was released.

Earlier this week, Soulja plead guilty to the obstruction charge and was given a $1,000 fine in addition to 12 months probation.
