Janet Jackson To Headline Essence Music Festival In July

Janet Jackson is preparing for her first and only show of 2010 by headlining this year's Essence Music Festival in New Orleans this July.

This year’s festival, which is slated to take place during the July 4th weekend, will also be Janet’s Essence Music Festival debut. It will also count as the singer’s first full concert since 2008.

In addition to Janet Jackson taking the stage, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, LL Cool J, Keri Hilson, Monica, Jill Scott, Earth, Wind & Fire, Raphael Saadiq, Charile Wilson, DJ Soul Sister, and Gladys Knight will also be performing at the festival.
