Published April 22, 2010

Lil Wayne's legal issues just won't go away. Weezy, who is currently serving a one-year prison term for gun possession, is facing a $500,000 lawsuit from "Lollipop" producer Jim Jonsin for unpaid royalties.

According to the NY Post, Jonsin has yet to receive any form of compensation for the successful track, which served as the lead single from Weezy's "The Carter III" multiplatinum opus.

"Lollipop" also moved three million digital units and topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart for several weeks. In addition to production credit, Jonsin is also listed as the track's co-writer.

At press time, representatives from Cash Money have yet to respond to the lawsuit.
