Published May 12, 2010

The Daily News is reporting that Lil Wayne is being accused of "music contraband." Authorities at the facility discovered a charger and ear phones for a watch that doubled as an mp3 player.

Wayne's unauthorized paraphernalia was removed from Wayne's cell, which was placed in a trash can wrapped in foil and a bag, around 8am. One of the officers was given a heads up by another inmate.

An inside sourced explained, "He was found with a charger for an MP3 player and unauthorized earphones."

Wayne, along with another inmate who was also discovered with an unauthroized digital music player, will be charged with an infraction for contraband, according to a Riker's Island correctional officer.

Authorities are investigating how the items got into Lil Wayne's possession.
