Jay-Z auctioned off one of his most prized possessions during the Audemars Piguet and Tony Awards after party last night (May 17) in NYC.
Hov's limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watch was priced at a whopping $217,800, making it the most expensive piece on the auction block for the night. The watch was also personally signed by Jay-Z himself.
Proceeds from the auction will be given to the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Foundation.
In related news, Jay-Z managed to bring in five nominations for the 2010 BET Awards which are set to take place June 27 at 8p.m. on BET. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Melanie Fiona also received multiple nominations.
