Word is Lil Wayne entered a plea deal on drug possession charges in Yuma court this Friday (June 20).

The self-proclaimed "best rapper alive" pled guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug stemming from a January 2008 arrest in which his tour bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint near Dateland, Arizona.

Officers found cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and a firearm. Weezy, who is presently serving a one-year sentence in New York's Rikers Island for gun possession, may end up getting 36 months probation under his plea bargain. He's scheduled to be sentenced June 30.
