Add Lil Wayne to the growing list of rappers that owe money to Uncle Sam. Per Detroit News, the IRS recently filed a tax lien of $1.13 million against Weezy, according to Florida court records.
Wayne owes taxes for 2004, 2005 and 2007. The lien marks the second time Wayne encounters tax problems. The IRS filed a $977,840 lien against the New Orleans rapper two years back, but Wayne paid it off by August 2008.
Wayne apparently has more debt to be settled. According to Dade County court records, a jeweler won a $146,000 civil judgment due to Wayne's failure to pay for an 18-carat chain and a $138,000 platinum ring.
In related news, Weezy is expected to be released from jail on November 4.
