Cops Send APB on Timbaland for Possible Suicide Attempt

Published August 25, 2010

L.A. cops put out an APB on super-producer Timbaland when his family feared a possible suicide attempt yesterday (August 24).

Timbo reportedly told his brother-in-law he was disturbed by a robbery that occurred at his Malibu home a day prior, in which a $2 million watch from Jacob & Co. was among the items stolen. Tim apparently thinks someone he knows could have been the culprit.

TMZ reports that Timbaland left his house after speaking to his brother-in-law and began driving in his Escalade. His family grew concerned and contacted the police when they couldn't get in contact with him.  [Listen to 911 Call Here] Soon enough, a helicopter and squad cars joined the search for the platinum producer. The helicopter eventually caught up with Tim and pulled him over and spoke to him to determine if he was a threat to himself. Cops then put him in a squad car, drove him home and interviewed him and his family. Paramedics then came to evaluate Tim and determined that he wasn't a threat to himself.

Stay tuned as this story develops.
