Rumors of a Fugees reunion have circulated for years to no avail, but producer Jerry Duplessis has some good news for fans.

In an interview, Duplessis revealed that the trio is "definitely going to get back together."

As an April fools joke, Duplessis tweeted that he was in the studio with Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras, and a flurry of inquires followed.

"I was getting crazy phone calls and mad emails. My Twitter was going heavy. People all over the globe were saying, 'Is it true? We really want the Fugees!'"

Duplessis, who produced the Fugee's last record The Score, believes it's only a matter of time before the real thing occurs.

What do you think? Will the Fugees get back together? Vote in our poll.
