Wait a minute, we gonna let y'all finish, but Kanye West’s “Stronger” is the greatest workout song of all time, according to Gold’s Gym. In a recent nationwide poll conducted by the fitness company, West’s Grammy Award–winning single was voted the greatest energy-boosting track among Gold’s customers.
The synth-heavy, Euro pop-infused track beat out hundreds of songs that were submitted by celebrities, music fans, and gym members for Gold’s March Music Madness competition. The “final four” songs in the contest were '”Stronger,” the Gun N' Roses classic “Welcome to the Jungle,” Eminem's rousing “Lose Yourself,” and Black Eyed Peas' club smash “Boom Boom Pow.”
For selecting the winning song in the competition Gold's Gym gave the winner a $5,000 donation to the charity of their choice. Former New York Giants great Michael Strahan was “thrilled” to hear that “Stronger” won the March Madness–styled bracket tournament, because he nominated the K. West banger.
"The song brings back great memories of Super Bowl XLII (The New York Giants came out to 'Stronger' before beating the New England Patriots 17–14) and is still on my iPod every day in the gym," Strahan said. "What's even more special is that I get to share this win with my friend Sammy Arthur, with the proceeds going to his charity, The Health & Humanitarian Aid Foundation."
