Game Speaks About Being Detained In Canada

The rapper details his recent troubles with Canadian customs.

Game recently called in to Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show to talk about being detained in Canada. Customs officials took him in after he arrived in Canada and accused him of being affiliated with organized crime.

"It was crazy. They let me see the paperwork for why they were holding me and it said like, 'This person is in Canada. He's kingpin of a gang of Bloods and he came to rally up Bloods and to bring new Bloods to the concert.' They just made it seem like it was a cult," says Game.

Though there was speculation that the rapper could spend 14 days there, officials (who Game says were waiting for him as he deplaned), kept him for just two. "From my girl to just everybody was on it. We finally had to get a signature from the secretary of state saying that all of my crimes I committed in the past were done with. I served my time, I was off probation, no parole, everything was dead so they ended up letting me go."

Over the weekend, Game appeared on stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with Lil Wayne for his I Am Still Music tour.
