Though Gucci Mane is currently behind bars on a probation violation, it hasn’t stopped his partner in rhyme Waka Flocka Flame from promoting their future plans.

According to Waka, the two Atlanta rap stars are planning to release their much-anticipated joint album, Ferrari Boyz, on June 21.

"new mixTape finna drop n 3weeks from now Plus me n Gucci album on june 21" Waka tweeted.

While Gooch is now serving time on a battery charge, for allegedly pushing a woman out of a moving car, Waka seems very optimistic his Brick Sqaud cohort will be home in time for the project's release.

In the meantime, Flocka will continue boosting his profile through the mixtape scene. The rowdy rapper has put out four mixtapes this year. On the flip side, Gucci's latest independent release, The Return of Mr. Zone 6, dropped in March with little fanfare.

A music rep at Warner Bros. Music, Waka's label, declined to confirm the release date of the album.
