Coors is the latest beer company to hop on the hip hop bandwagon, teaming up with West Coast luminary Ice Cube for a new line of TV spots. The brewer famous for tapping the Rockies has tapped Cube to help launch its upcoming "Two Stage Activation" bottles and cans, which are designed to indicate how cold a beer is just by looking at it.
The ads, part of Coors' "Super Cold Summer" campaign, will pit Ice Cube against the bottles themselves in a contest over who is colder. The rapper/actor/producer will star in at least two of the spots, which are expected to begin airing nationwide this month.
