Self Made, Vol. 1, the first official release from the Maybach Music label, is being pushed up to a Monday, May 23 release date, according to a press statement from Maybach Music. In preparation for the big day, Maybach Music will release a new track, video, or exclusive content every Monday in May leading up to that.

During the week of release, Warner Bros./Maybach Music will be heavily promoting the album through retail in-stores, radio takeovers, live performances and college meet and greets in select markets. The compilation, which features the Maybach Music team including Rick Ross, Wale, Pill, Meek Mill, Torch and Teedra Moses on different tracks, has already been jumpstarted by the group's single, "Tupac Back." Other artists featured on the 15-track album include Jadakiss, J. Cole, CyHi The Prynce, Curren$y and Jeremih.

In related news, contrary to what Ricky Rozay said on Twitter, the Maybach Music boss did not accompany boxer Manny Pacquiao to the ring this past Saturday for his fight against Shane Mosley.
