Common Added to Rock the Bells Lineup

The eighth annual festival adds artists to the show.

This year’s Rock the Bells just became an even hotter ticket today with the addition of Common, DOOM, Killah Priest and Boy Jones. Common will perform his 2005 album Be, which featured Kanye West-produced hits “Go!” “Testify” and “The Corner.” Organizers also confirmed that Erykah Badu will perform Baduizm in its entirety.

The show will hit stages in Los Angeles (August 20), San Francisco (August 27), New York City (September 3) and Boston (September 10). Previously announced acts including Nas (performing Illmatic), Lauryn Hill (performing The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill), Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star (performing Black Star), Raekwon and Ghostface (performing Only Built for Cuban Linx), Cypress Hill (performing Black Sunday) and Genius|Gza (performing Liquid Swords).
