Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" share a long storied history and Complex magazine's Editor-In-Cheif Noah Callahan-Bever has been there nearly since the beginning.
In July's issue of the hipster rag, the EIC digs into the crates of his iPhoto and shares the first images and experiences he shared with both Em and Royce back in 1998. As a lowly writer, he shared Vicodin, tales of sexual conquest and a claustrophobic elevator with the gents and lived to tell the tale.
"Stoned and hungry as hell, all I could think about was how long it was gonna take a repair man to show up at midnight on a Saturday," Callahan-Bever writes in Complex. "We’d been on a mission to McDonald’s, after all. Em and Royce? They were more concerned with who had what pills. Skam was kind enough to point out the whole no-bathroom situation. That’s when Em, 26, and Royce, 20, decided that, because I was the youngest (duh!), my corner would, if it came to it, become our make-shift toilet. Of course they did. This is what happens when Bad Meets Evil."
Hell: The Sequel album hits shelves on June 12.
