Quite a few Outkast projects could be on its way, according to HipHopWired's reports. Not only is the hip hop duo working on the group's next album, but both Andre 3000 and Big Boi are each focusing on their own projects this year too.

"Outkast is on track to release a new album by early next year," an industry source with close contact with one of the group members tells HipHopWired. "Both Dre and Big Boi are working on solo projects; they want those out by the end of 2011."

Their last musical release (before venturing into movies and working together on a film, "Idlewild," and its soundtrack) was 2003's double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which packaged two solo albums in a single release. It went on to top charts and won a Grammy Award for 2004 Album of the Year.

Are you excited to see what Outkast unleashes next?
