Things are going well for R&B singer Kelly Rowland. Still riding the success of having a No. 1 hit single with "Motivation," the Destiny's Child singer also added a No. 1 R&B album to her list of accomplishments this week. Rowland's third solo album, Here I Am, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart after selling 76,857 copies in its first week. The album is also the top selling R&B.
"I'm just so thankful to everybody for being so supportive of this record and of 'Motivation.' I've been so completely humbled," Rowland told BET.com in an exclusive interview. The album is what Rowland describes as "grown and sexy." Rowland talked about another song off the album that she is feeling these days. "My favorite song right now would be this record I did called 'Keep It Between Us.' Seven and I wrote on it. It's so sensual and relaxing," she said.
Rowland was also handpicked by Diddy to be the face of his new female fragrance, Empress.
