Some people take their hometown appreciation really seriously. Thus the case with Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Bad Boy's newly signed artist spoke about LeBron James a bit harshly in a recent interview.
While rappers seem to rep their city every chance they get, basketball players who move around more are generally a little less loyal. But Machine Gun Kelly isn't letting LeBron, who has been criticized for leaving Cleveland to play for the Miami Heat, off the hook. "I don't really like [LeBron] at all," MGK said. "That guy's a really poor example of a human being. We don't really roll like that. We west boys stay true to [our] mothaf****n' homes, and heroes don't leave when they're in need."
Obviously a basketball fan, Machine Gun Kelly also talked about his tattoes and favorite MCs in the video-taped interview featured on hiphopdx.com. His debut album on Diddy's label, titled Lace Up, is expected to drop in early 2012.
