He may be known for making songs like “Buy You a Drink” and “I’m in Love With a Stripper” but T-Pain has found success by marketing to children.

When he launched the voice modification toy “I Am T-Pain Mic” in August, he didn’t know it would do so well. He tells Reuters, "A lot of kids don't have cellphones, (so) in order to reach everyone, I'm taking it to where it can be a toy." The 26-year-old adds, "They sell out every week. This was far beyond my expectations."

The Mic comes with a USB plug which allows users to download and share songs they recorded.

The Grammy-award winner says he's expanding the product to include a video camera and eventually special editions, which will have more beat selections.
