Kanye West and Jay-Z definitely started something — or was it Royce da 5'9" and Eminem? Either way, hip hop's got collabo fever. Next to the fray? B.o.B. and T.I. Bobby Ray recently confirmed the rumors that he and his fellow ATLien were in the studio working on a joint album.

"The joint album, it actually started as a joke," B.o.B told MTV News. "Tip would always refer to me as the Martian, and in one of his lyrics, he said, 'It's the man and the Martian,' and we said, 'Man that could be an album title.'"

But the joking around has apparently led to some time in the studio together. "We kinda just played around with it," B.o.B. says. "But it seems to be taking form in a very organic way."

To catch a sneak peek of the the duo's potential firepower, check out B.o.B.'s new mixtape, E.P.I.C., released Monday. One of the standout cuts is "Boom Bap," featuring T.I. and Mos Def.
