After running afoul of the law while driving drunk in his Bugatti last June, it looks like Flo Rida has caught a break. A judge yesterday sentenced the Miami rapper to a rehabilitation program instead of jail time, TMZ reports.
When Flo was pulled over by police his blood-alcohol level was .185 — double the legal limit. In court yesterday, his lawyer struck a deal to have him enrolled in a drunk-driving program dubbed "Back on Track" in lieu of jail time.
As a part of the program, Flo Rida will be required to do a combination of substance abuse classes, counseling and community service among other obligations. If he completes the program, prosecutors will reduce his offense to the less-serious charge of reckless driving.
