Polarizing White Girl Mob rapper V-Nasty is still being taken to task for her unapologetic use of the N-word. In a recent interview with XXLMag.com she holds her own and explains her rationale behind using the term and asserts that if she can't say the term, nobody should be able to.

"I don’t feel like it has anything to do with race," says V-Nasty. "I feel like people use that word the way I use it. You know what I’m sayin’? If I can’t say it, then basically nobody should be able to say it then, you know what I’m sayin’? I don’t give a fuck!"
Although it was revealed in September that V-Nasty was considering discontinuing her use of the N-Word she has maintained that this only goes for her music, not her personal life. She reiterated that point.

"Because I’m working on not using the N-word in my music and stuff," she explains. "But on an everyday thing when I’m with my friends, I don’t feel like I should have to change anything. I just feel like I don’t wanna disrespect anybody, because I don’t know what other people have been through. It’s not like that in my city. I just feel like I’m gonna stop using it in my music, in a public eye. Other than that, I’m gonna continue to be myself."

Previously, fellow crew member Kreayshawn and others have tried to explain V's controversial habit by pointing out that, in her neighborhood, people of all races use the word in conversation as a meaningless catchall phrase.

Gucci Mane, whom she collaborated with on their BAYTL album, stood by V, saying that her use of the N-word doesn't bother him at all.

"I can't judge her for that with all the shit I been through," Gucci told XXLMag.com of V-Nasty. "I'm the last person that could judge somebody. All I know is I enjoy working with her. It was fun working with her."

BAYTL is in stores now.
