Rowdy rapper Tyler, the Creator is paying for the raucous night he had at a Hollywood club back in December. The Odd Future front man is really sorry for destroying the club’s sound equipment so he has reportedly paid $8,000 to cover the cost of damages.
According to TMZ, Tyler coughed up $8,000 to Hollywood’s famed club Roxy as part of his apology for losing his cool and damaging some pricey sound equipment. The December 2011 incident led to the rapper’s arrest and nearly caused a riot outside the club. Police charged the unruly rap star with vandalism.
Now that he has squared things away with the club owners, Tyler is set to meet with the District Attorney’s office, who want the shock rap MC to pay for investigation costs incurred by West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department.
Once Tyler makes that payment, all criminal charges will be dropped.
