Jeremih isn't having such a good time on Spring Break this year. The R&B singer was forced to retreat from the stage at a concert in South Padre Island Wednesday night after angry fans pelted him with drinks.

TMZ reports that the crowd at the show got agitated with Jeremih after it became clear he was lip-synching his songs. In a video of the show, a DJ appeared to be playing full tracks, including vocals, at a high volume, with Jeremih pantomiming along to the music.

A disillusioned audience member began the revolt by throwing a plastic bottle at Jeremih, which he attempted to brush off. A minute later, however, someone threw an open container filled with a sticky red cocktail that got all over the "Down On Me" singer. After that, his security guard came on stage and Jeremih, who recently performed at BET's Rip the Runway, walked off, never to return.

The whole set lasted only a few minutes and the venue reportedly didn't offer refunds on the $30 tickets. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
