Maxwell, the neo-soul crooner known for his silky falsetto, is heading back on tour for the first time in two years. The platinum selling artist will play special two-night stands in three select cities, performing two of his albums in their entirety at each show.
The tour begins July 20 in Los Angeles, and from there will hit stadiums in Atlanta and New Jersey. On his first night in each city, Maxwell will perform Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite (1996) and Embrya (1998) in their entirety. The second night will turn the spotlight on Now (2001) and BLACKsummers'night (2009).
This marks the first time Maxwell has ever performed one of his records in their entirety. The "Pretty Wings" singer last toured in June of 2010 in support of his Billboard topping fourth album BLACKsummers'night.
