Following the tragic killing of a fan after a show in Tokyo, Nicki Minaj is refuting reports that a man arrested for the crime is one of her backup dancers.

The fan, 21-year-old Irish exchange student Nicola Furlong, was found strangled in a hotel room the morning after the concert last Wednesday. Furlong had reportedly gone to the hotel with a friend, Sarah Maher, and two men, James Blackston and Larry Perry.

Maher, who survived the incident, says Blackston and Perry sexually assaulted both she and Furlong while at the hotel. Both men have since been arrested and are currently in custody, according to IrishCentral.

On Wednesday, Perez Hilton reported that Blackston, 23, was a backup dancer for Minaj, but the pop star flatly denied that claim.

"@PerezHilton that person on your sight [sic] is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information," she wrote on Twitter.

Minaj later added that none of her dancers were questioned or arrested, and that all had flown home from Japan.

Blackston, who goes by "King Tight," has previously danced for Omarion and Marques Houston in addition to appearing in music videos by the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez, according to The Irish Independent. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
