Meek Mill is grounded.
A municipal court judge has ordered the Maybach Music Group up-and-comer to remain in his hometown of Philadelphia, banning him from a planned international tour, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Mill is restricted from traveling as a part of his probation from a 2008 drug and gun conviction. Last week he put in a request for the travel ban to be lifted in order for him to be able to tour, but a judge denied the request.
Meek was to have performed on Conan in Los Angeles on Wednesday before embarking on a multi-city jaunt to Africa.
"I'm out here doing good. Until I start doing bad, that's when I think it should be a problem," said Mill in an interview with NBC 10 Philadelphia.
