Dr. Dre, Drake Congratulate LeBron James on NBA Championship Win

Rap stars celebrate Miami Heat victory.

In honor of LeBron "I A'int Got No Worries" James winning his second consecutive NBA championship ring, Nike put together a commercial featuring congratulatory messages from Dr. Dre, Drake, Spike Lee and more.

The ad zooms in on an old-school answering machine playing back well wishes for the Miami Heat forward. "I know how tough this series was, but you did it again," Dre says. "Can you believe it?"

"This is your time," adds the YMCMB affiliate. "I always tell you that. It's love man!"

Drake's loyalty to the Ohio native goes beyond his participation in the Nike ad. After the Heat pulled out a 95-88 Game 7 defeat against the San Antonio Spurs in the last moments of the fourth quarter this past Thursday (Jun. 20), the OVO chief tried to walk into the locker room and was promptly denied. He wasn't allowed to enter without media credentials, to which he hilariously replied to security, "I am media."

No matter how clever the response, Drake had to abide by the rules, but that didn't stop his determination. Following their victory, several members of the Heat headed over a local club for a pizza party celebration, and standing shoulder to shoulder with King James was none other than Drake, and a huge grin adorning his face.

Nothing can keep Drizzy from his friends, apparently.
