Solange Knowles canceled the remaining dates of her European tour this summer. The singer said that she's recently moved, needs to get her son settled in school and has an album to record, and a jaunt across the pond will be too stressful at this time, reports Billboard.com.
"I am completely devastated to announce that I will be canceling my international festival dates for the Summer," she said in a statement. "I wish I could put in words how much of a difficult decision this was ... but between moving part time to a new city, starting my son in a new school, and writing/ recording my new record ... I really had to make the best decision for my mental/physical health and provide some stability for my family."
The new label head also issued an apology in the statement. "I am so so sooooo sorry if Ive disappointed...... [sic] and really hope to make it out to those special cities soon enough!"
She is still scheduled for a few domestic dates, including her big brother-in-law's Made In America Festival.
