An old school jam landed Kanye West in Billboard's Top 20 this week. His song "Gone," featuring Cam'ron and Consequence, off his 2005 album, Late Registration, debuted at No. 18 on the Hot 100 singles chart.

The song, which was never originally released as a single, resurfaced from the virtual crates recently when writer/comedian Marina Shrifrin used it as the soundtrack to a viral video that she made to quit her job. The video got so much play around 15 million views on YouTube as of press time that it helped cause a spike in digital sales of the song. The "first week" tally has the song eligible for charting.

In addition to opening at No. 18 on the Hot 100 chart, "Gone" (which samples Otis Redding of "Otis" fame) also enters the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart at No. 6 and the Rap Songs chart at No. 4. It's 'Ye's fifth-highest singles debut to date.

"We bring something of joy to the world," West said last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "When people listen to my music, they have a good time, and I should be respected as such when I walk down the street..."
