Rihanna's tweets about a live sex show she attended in Phuket, Thailand a few weeks ago led to the arrest of a bar owner, reports the Associated Press. "Either I was ph--k wasted last night, or I saw a Thai woman pull a live bird, 2 turtles, razors, shoot darts and ping pong, all out of her p---y," Rih Rih tweeted in late September.
The pop star gave a play-by-play of the strange performance where a woman apparently "tried to turn water into coke" inside her genitalia. "All I'm saying is water went in and soda came out! I'm traumatized!!!" Rih Rih wrote.
Police used her tweets to make the arrest. "Authorities found out about this bar the morning after Rihanna tweeted about it, but we were not able to catch them violating the law until Saturday (Oct. 13) night," local district chief Weera Kerdsirimongkon said Monday (Oct. 14). "We had been waiting for them and finally caught them red-handed."
The apprehended suspect faces charges for obscenity and running a venue without a permit, punishable by a month in jail and a 60,000 baht ($1,900) fine.
Rihanna's timeline has helped cops crack down on Thailand's criminal activity before. A 16-year-old boy and 20-year-old man were arrested last month after the "Pour It Up" singer posted a photo of her posing with a slow loris, a primate found in South Asia. The two could face charges for possession of a protected animal, which carries up to four years in prison and a fine of 40,000 baht ($1,300).
