Mack Miller's Pink Slime EP with Pharrell Williams is due out next year, the rapper recently revealed to Rolling Stone.
The project was originally announced last year, ushered in by a few preview cuts, like the spastic track "Glow," until scheduling conflicts stalled the release.
After an impressive year for both artists — Skateboard P nabbed features on hit singles "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines," while Miller dropped his acclaimed sophomore effort, Watching Movies With the Sound Off — the two have finally found time to talk about their collaboration.
"We actually just talked a couple days ago. I'm going to go see him [in Miami] and we're going to finish it and put it out," Miller explained, mentioning that all he and Williams have to do is "sit down for a few days and knock out songs."
Miller is eying an end-of-the-year deadline for Pink Slime, which will be recorded in P's studio, a location full of "happy things" like "natural sunlight," and a pool.
The spot is a welcomed contrast to where Miller records in Los Angeles, which he likened to a "dungeon."
