Tevin Campbell Performing at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City
It has been over two decades since the release of Tevin Campbell's landmark album I'm Ready. The album went double platinum and delivered major hits like "Always in My Heart," "I'm Ready" and the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Can We Talk," which celebrated its 21st anniversary this year. Now, fans will have a chance to relive the classics with Campbell this Saturday, June 14, at the B.B. King Blues Club in New York City.
Before Chris Brown, Usher and Trey Songz, Campbell was the biggest R&B sensation of the early '90s. Discovered by Quincy Jones, his debut single was "Tomorrow (A Better You, Better Me)" at the age of 13 in 1989. His follow-up was "Round and Round,” produced by Prince for the Graffiti Bridge soundtrack. But Campbell broke into his own with his debut album, T.E.V.I.N. The album spawned the R&B classic "Tell Me What You Want Me to Do" and earned two Grammy nominations.
Tevin Campbell's performance at B.B. King Blues Club is a show not to be missed for anyone who is a lover of R&B classics. And word on the street is the five-time Grammy nominee still has the pipes. Click here for more information.
