Summer is almost over but BET Music Matters is keeping the hot streak going with yet another unforgettable night of free music.
George Tandy Jr., who had heads buzzing with his 2013 debut single “March,” looks to give NYC fans a taste of his live show this Tuesday (Aug 12) at New York City’s famed music venue SOB’s.
It was a successful debut year for the Virginia born singer/songwriter, who was working at Starbucks until a chance meeting with head of RedStar Entertainment Cima Georgevich landed him a record deal.
Also taking the stage will be ABC's Duets champion J Rome, who impressed viewers and celebrity judges with his talent on the nationally televised talent competition. Rome's charisma will be on full display in NYC tonight. The versatile crooner will perform a mix of new material as well as some classic covers to give fans a much needed fix.
Fans will also get to check out up-and-coming talents Kameron Corvet, UTK and Kora who share the bill with Tandy and J Rome.
Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m. with Buttahman hosting and DJ Lyve getting things warmed up by spinning crowd-pleasing cuts. Space is limited so arrive early for another night of thrilling performances.
