Whitney Houston was not only one of the greatest singers of all time, she was a legendary performer as well. The late pop icon thrilled audiences around the globe with her energy and spirit. Now, Houston's most memorable live performances have been compiled into one DVD and CD collection, Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances.

We paid a visit to Clive Davis, the man who discovered Houston and nurtured her career, to talk about the singer's legacy. The 82-year-old music icon sounds off on Houston's immeasurable talent, her influence on artists like Alicia Keys and Beyoncé and the criticism she recieved in her career for singing too "white."

Davis, who is the man behind some of the greatest careers in music history, also produced the recently-released Aretha Franklin Sings the Diva Classics
