Proud papa Kanye West previewed a clip from the visuals for his latest single, "Only One," and true to the song's intent, it's a no filter home video of him with his firstborn, North.
West dropped the ballad at the top of the new year along with a screen shot of his hand-written lyrics and a feature from Paul McCartney. He said it was inspired by his late mother, Donda West, speaking through him and to his daughter.
He debuted the Spike Jonze-directed clip on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he spoke about fatherhood and marriage. "I think I'm a better human being because of [Kim] and because of my daughter, and I have always someone to think about going home to," he said. "Something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there's things I've done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too."
Elsewhere in the chat he reveals whether or not he wants more children. Check the video below.
