Bobby Shmurda is cleaning house and has started with firing his manager, who also happens to be his "uncle." Calling in to the Hot 97 Morning Show, the Brooklyn emcee candidly spoke on his decision and revealed his plans to reach out to 50 Cent to fill the now vacant role.
Two minutes into the interview with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez, Shmurda went on a rant about how his manager betrayed him while he's been behind bars. "That n***a tried to rob me on some s**t," he said. "That n***a's a lying a** n***a. That n***a not even my real uncle, man... That n***a tryin' to sue me now while I'm in jail."
Now that the position is vacant, Shmurda is actively seeking out new management. "Right now, I don't got no manager... I'm looking for a manager while I'm in jail," he said. "I've been trying to get in contact with 50 [Cent] and them for the longest for some management... for something."
The rapper last called into Hot 97 back in February when he cleared up rumors regarding the reasons behind his arrest. Shmurda was locked up Dec. 17 on multiple counts of conspiracy and weapons charges, and faces up to 25 years in jail. He remains behind bars after a $2 million bail package was revoked. He's up for his next hearing in April.
Meanwhile, Shmurda is also trying to get out of his deal with Epic Records, and has said that if he is not let go, he will give them the music that he owes them and be done.
