Last year, Prince and the band launched the Hit & Run tour in the U.K. with a series of spontaneous shows announced via Twitter. The group, which released two chart-topping albums, Art Official Age  and Plectrumelectrum, in 2014, played legendary venues like Electric Ballroom and Shepherd's Bush Empire, sometimes performing up to three shows a night.

A portion of proceeds from the Louisville show will be donated to local charities. Tickets go on sale next Monday (March 9) at 10 a.m. EST.
